     This time of year can be especially challenging for managing difficult emotions.  The holidays coupled with the winter blues (a milder version of Seasonal Affective Disorder) can have a trying effect on our mental health.  So as my Christmas present to you, I am sharing my tried and true coping strategies for when times get tough so that you can enjoy the holidays as much as possible.  Even if you find this season to be especially agreeable, you can read on and apply these strategies to any point in your life when you are not feeling 100% emotionally well.
